Salma Hayek premiered a new hair, skin and beauty line called Nuance at the pharmacy store CVS this week. The 100-product beauty line will be sold at CVS stores nationwide. Hayek, photographed with her billionaire husband, Francois-Henri Pinault at a recreational center in Los Angeles, California on August 14th, is the line’s biggest fan, obviously, and swears the products work.
The Nuance products, according to USA Today, are affordable and easily accessible. Hayek was the line’s guinea pig. Hayek commented on the process of making Nuance, “If I had known how much work it was going to be, I wouldn’t have done it. I’m incapable of letting someone else take over. I’m micromanaging.”
Hayek’s new cosmetic line is not the only venture she is celebrating, she is also Allure’s September cover girl and has the new film, Puss In Boots premiering this fall. The 44-year-old actress worked hard on her product line, saying, “I’ve been working on this for years. I burn my face, my eyes, trying this (expletive). I have very sensitive skin. The stuff is really, really, really good.” I’m glad she didn’t burn off her face!
