Russell Crowe Explains Weight Gain

September 30th, 2008 // Leave a Comment

In case you’ve been wondering why Australian actor Russell Crowe has been looking a little round around the edges, the  actor purposely packed on 63 lbs. for his most recent role of CIA boss in Body of Lies. Like Eva Longoria, he’s not pregnant–he’s just fat.

Cupcakes and cheeseburgers were the poison of preference for Meg Ryan‘s ex, who stars alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in the flick.

Working together for the first time since The Quick and the Dead in 1995, Crowe said of their experience, “[It's] pretty much exactly the same…except [DiCaprio] can drink legally now and he’s no longer a virgin.” Whatever. You know Sharon Stone would have taken care of that shit.
