Royal Rewind: The Year Of Kate & Her Clothing

April 25th, 2012 // Leave a Comment

Catherine has done wonders for the British monarchy in the year since she married Prince William, and while some may call her fashion choices “too safe,” we haven’t taken issue with one look of hers these past twelve months.

Sarah Burton‘s custom-made creations for Her Royal Highness were a home run each and every time, while Alice Temperley has done right by Catherine with delicate designs.  And each time I pass Reiss, I see at least one look that would work on the future consort.

So which outfit of Catherine’s did you love the most from her first year at Her Royal Highness, Catherine Duchess of Cambridge?  Was it the red Beulah London gown Catherine wore to the Child Bereavement Charity Fundraising Gala on October 13th?  Or the pink sequined Jenny Packham gown she wore to the ARK dinner in June?  Gahhhd there are so many choices!!!!

One thing’s for sure-There isn’t a gown that will ever top Catherine’s wedding dress.  Even though the design wasn’t completely innovative, Catherine carried herself so well that we forgot those famous brides who came before.
