After roughly a month after receiving her title, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge returned to Buckingham Palace for the Trooping of The Colour, an annual event held to mark the sovereign’s birthday (Queen Elizabeth‘s actual birthday is April 21st).
Happy to be among a gaggle of royals, Catherine stood out in a double breasted Alexander McQueen coat with shoulder pads and and tiers at the sides, making her already tiny waist appear smaller.
She topped off the look with a black fascinator (wearing it later that day to Sam Waley-Cohen’s wedding with sister Pippa Middleton), outshining every single person on the balcony.
Catherine looked to be getting along with everyone in the party, sharing a laugh of Prince Harry and chatting with the younger kids.
Marvelous! What a way to kick off royal wedding anniversary weekend.
