When Rosie Huntington-Whiteley first started modeling, she admitted to being a bit heavier, Us Magazine learned. When casting agents advised her to slim down, Huntington-Whitely refused. She told the June issue of Elle Magazine,
“I was quite voluptuous in fact. I had a real baby face and baby fat. But I was a baby! I was told I had to get into better shape, but I’m quite stubborn so I didn’t. I can’t remember a time where I really battled with my body, but I can remember being asked to lose weight and battling with the advice. It hurt me. Especially as my baby fat naturally melted away as I got older.”
The Transformers 3 star and Victoria’s Secret model says the weight criticism pushed to her to find her voice. “You can bullied as a young model, but there was a point where I found my voice, effectively,” she told Elle.
Whiteley, who dates action star Jason Statham, left the Byron and Tracey salon in Beverly Hills Tuesday after a six hour appointment!
