Robert Pattinson Continues Filming ‘Remember Me’ After Fan Attack

June 15th, 2009 // 17 Comments

As you all know by now, Robert Pattinson began filming Remember Me in New York City today. Now with video. CRAZY!

Rob began shooting around 8:30 a.m. today. He was
greeted by hordes of photographers and dozens of adoring female fans
from nearby New York University.

RadarOnline.com reports that on teen fan got a little over eager and grabbed Robert. While the Twilight star walked up and down Washington Square East for the scene, 15-year-old Krystal Zamora decided it was now or never to meet Rpattz.

Krystal, from Manhattan’s Upper East Side,  told RadarOnline.com: “As Rob was about to shoot a scene, I knew this was my only chance to talk to him. So I just walked out in front of him — I was directly in his path.

“For a second, I thought he might be arrogant because of all his fame. But he wasn’t at all! He looked at me and smiled — and I asked him if he could sign my copy of New Moon.

“He autographed it and just smiled at me. I was really scared I’d get kicked out, especially since his bodyguard was standing right there and there’s lots of cops here. So I ran off before I could ask him anything else.”

The casualties of being Robert Pattinson. I’m just glad no one was hurt.

  4. Vickie

He’s filming a movie. They need to show him some respect. Not cool at all. I admire how he handled it, smiling and polite. Most stars would be throwing a fit.

  5. dollhoue

what a loser. girls like her need to get laid.

This can’t be a direct quote from the beautifully named “Krystal Zamora” (which sounds as if she should be starring in a film about gypsy fortune-tellers). For every sentence she supposedly utters is not punctuated with the words “like” or “so”, or even “so, like”.

What a waste of journalistic talent, Mia. I bet you wish you’d got that job on the National Geographic now.

  7. Tricia

Poor guy…let’s leave Rob alone he has job to do. I am glad he handled with the grace.

    Dear Rob,

I feel very upset for you that you have been treated this way during your visit in NYC. Please know that there are fans here in NYC that love and respect you and would never disrespect you that way.

We all are very glad that you are here and we wish you only the best and much success. With that being said, on behalf of all your loyal fans who love and respect you, please accept our apologies to the way you have been treated by all of the “psycho fans and tweenies who are clueless.”

Keep up the good work and we look forward to your new projects.

Just remember, not all of your fans are nuts!

As Shakespeare once said…”To thy known self be true.”

Don’t let what those stupid people did to you affect the kind and generous spirit you show to all of your fans. You just be you and we’ll keep on loving and respecting that.

Unbelievable and unacceptable! I can only imagine how all of this constant chaos makes him feel and what it may eventually do to him. We all want to meet and talk to him, but be mature and let him do what he’s set out to do — make great movies for his beloved fans!!!!

  16. Fiona

PLEASE stop acting like that. Its giving us girls a very bad image. Pattinson must terrified of every walking, talking girl. Not to mention paranoid.

I feel so sorry for you Robert. But remember we are not all CRAZY!! I can’t wait for this movie to come out. xxx

Oh dear, that is rather pathetic.
I feel very sorry for Rob, it would be horrible having people you’ve never met jump all over you.

I think a lot of girls need to realise that he is just another person, how would they feel if they were walking down the street being attacked by a mob of crazy, stupid, pathetic girls?
