It’s almost time to bid farewell to Edward Cullen, but fear not.  For we bring tidings of casting joy!  According to The Hollywood Reporter, Robert Pattinson has been cast in the film adaptation of Mission: Black List #1: The Inside Story of the Search for Saddam Hussein — As Told by the Soldier Who Masterminded His Capture.

Pattison will play army interrogator Eric Maddox (who also wrote the book) in the film, which “aims to tell the true story of the man who spearheaded the capture of Saddam Hussein.”   Blacklist, to be directed by Jean-Stephane Sauvaire, will be shopped at the upcoming Cannes Film Marketl.

Do you think Pattinson will do a bang-up job as an army interrogator?
