Robert Pattinson Grins Widely While Promoting ‘The Rover’, Loved The Lack Of Anything In The Outback

Oh hey! I was totally right about Robert Pattinson going to Australia to promote The Rover.

Rob and his co-star Guy Pearce attended a photocall for the film today, so I can only assume there will be a premiere happening pretty soon. Rob in formal attire? Yes please! Especially if it’s 1950s based.

Robert and Guy seemed genuinely happy to be promoting the film together. I mean, look at those smiles. Maybe it has something to do with how much fun they had making the movie.

If you’ve seen the trailers, then you know the movie seems pretty bleak, but that didn’t stop them from enjoying themselves on set. “It wasn’t really a heavy shoot,” Guy told reporters. “[Director David Michôd’s] got a good sense of humor and we had quite a good fun time on set.”

But the laughs weren’t the only think that Robert enjoyed. He was into the emptiness of it all, “I really liked it … being able to look to the horizon and see nothing.” I’m guessing he likes the nothing better than all the paparazzi.

I’m actually really excited about this movie. It looks excellent, and as you know I appreciate any and all opportunities to stare at Rob. So let’s do that now. Launch the gallery to check out all the photos from today’s photocall. I love that smile of his.
