Robert Pattinson & Dane DeHaan Channel Their 1950s Counterparts For ‘Life’

Robert Pattinson and Dane DeHaan playing men of the 1950s? Life has barely begun shooting, and it’s already my new favorite movie.

And guys, they’re not playing just any men of the 1950s. Life tells the story of Life Magazine photographer Dennis Stock, played by Rob, and the time he spent photographing James Dean, played by Dane. You know that famous photo of James in Times Square? Dennis took that.

Both men looked very period apporpriate on the Toronto set today. I had no idea Dane looked that much like James Dean.

Do you think that Dane is on his way to being the next James Franco? I mean, he is known for his interesting movies choices and–get this–both he and James Franco have played James Dean and Harry Osborn. What? Yes. Oh, and if you don’t hear from Dane anytime soon on Twitter, don’t worry.

Also, I really like Rob with the short, dark hair. He should keep it like this. And he should wear long coats all the time. Because as you know, men + long coats = happy Sabba.

Launch the gallery to check out all the photos from the Life set. I’m really excited about this movie. It should be a good one.
