What it must be like waking up to that smile. Kudos to Kristen Stewart for getting to do so.
Robert Pattinson was joined this morning by Paul Giamatti, Sarah Gadon, director David Cronenberg and Emily Hampshire at the Cosmopolis photocall during the 65th Annual Cannes Film Festival at Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France.
The Twilight hunk was beaming as he arrived to promote the dark drama and excitedly chatted to the waiting fans.
In an interview with Metro France (via Robert Pattinson News), Pattinson admitted he was “terrified” on the Cosmopolis set in the beginning.
“We did camera tests. I was sitting in the limo, I didn’t have anything to do … and I almost threw up,” he recalled. “My heart was beating so fast, I was scared David was going to fire me.”
Pattinson admitted that there was one scene that he doggedly refused to do. It involved Rob getting a prostate examination while he’s trying to seduce yet another woman–all in the back of the limo.
“Five minutes before we filmed,” Rob explained. “David told me ‘I want to see the bottom of your balls on the top of the frame.’ At the moment, I reminded myself that I would do anything for him. So I went back to see him and told him that wouldn’t happen. He took it really well. At the start, it’s a very bizarre scene that you won’t see again in another movie, I promise.”
I’ll take your word on that Rob.
