It is getting hot in here!
The red carpet was on fire at last night’s (February 21, 2013) 25th Anniversary Of Univision’s Premio Lo Nuestro A La Musica Latina in Miami, Florida.
The most buzzed about moment of the night was the reunion of former Menudo boy banders Ricky Martin (who was looking as handsome as ever) and Draco Rosa for “Más y Más,” the advance single off Draco’s new album, Vida.
Prince Royce swept the Premio Lo Nuestro awards. The Bronx native walked away with six trophies, including Tropical contemporary artist of the year. His heartfelt duet with Maná, “El Verdadero Amor Perdona” (Real Love Forgives), snagged best rock/alternative song as well as best collaboration.
Following Prince Royce, the popular Latina singer Jenni Rivera, whose sudden death shocked the Latin music world last year, was honored with five awards in the General, Pop and Regional categories.
Probably the most emotional moments of the evening came with a tribute to the Diva de La Banda, Jenni Rivera, who was killed in a plane crash late last year. Rivera was honored with five awards.
