Ricky Martin Greets Fans In Australia For Greatest Hits Album

The handsome and impossibly photogenic Ricky Martin stopped by the Westfield Southland on May 11, 2013 in Melbourne, Australia to promote the release of his Greatest Hits album.

Ricky was all smiles as he animatedly posed for photos during the red carpet event and gestured to the crowd. He just seemed generally to be in high spirits.

But then again, when isn’t he? I can’t think of a single time when the buoyant Latin crooner doesn’t have a beautiful smile on his face.

However, an issue Ricky takes seriously is that of gay rights. On a recent trip to Puerto Rico, Ricky urged Governor Alejandro García Padilla and local legislators to passing Senate Bill 238 and House Bills 488 and 437, which would extend legal protections to the Puerto Rican LGBT community. In a statement, Ricky told lawmakers:

The same rights for each and every citizen of Puerto Rico, that’s what we are asking and that’s what we hope to achieve, the country’s justice and peace that we want to achieve.

Who could say no to a face like that? Only a heartless, sightless monster, I tell ya.
