Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora dodged a big legal bullet this week, when prosecutors did not charge him with child endangerment stemming from his March 25 drunk-driving arrest. Richie was pulled over with in Laguna Beach after he was spotted “straddling lanes” of traffic. His 10-year-old daughter Ava and another minor were in the car. Hopefully the DVD of High School Musical they had playing distracted them from Bon Drunkie destroying parking cones and creating roadkill.
Interjection – why do these fame victims need Hummers? For real, is this Iraq? Doesn’t parking become an issue when you’re driving the Death Star?
Sambora was, however, charged with two counts of DUI and faces six months in jail if he’s found guilty. He has a blood alcohol content level of .13, with the legal limit being .08. His ass was drunk.
Police bigwigs wanted him stuck with the kiddie hazarding charge, but “rank and file” cops and prosecutors disagreed. Somebody apparently got some Bon Jovi prize packs sent to their homes.
