Reese Witherspoon sat down with the United Arab Emirates paper, The National a week after marrying CAA agent Jim Toth. Witherspoon arrived in a burgundy Roland Mouret dress, but changed into a poufy green number for their photo shoot. Witherspoon is high off her recent wedding, and talked to The National about finding love after a rough divorce back in 2007.
“We have the best time together and you just get that sort of great feeling. Your friends tell you it’s nice to see you being yourself and enjoying life and I think your friends are the best reflection of how you feel in a relationship. When he asked me to marry him I said yes right away. I didn’t have to think about it. My friends like to call me Mrs Toth now. They think it’s funny.”
Life is good these days for the Oscar winner, who tries to spend as much time with Toth and her kids-Ava and Deacon-at her Ojai ranch about 90 minutes north of Los Angeles. Witherspoon, who got her start in commercials as a child, talked about her most recent film, Water For Elephants, and what attracted her to the role of Marlena. The circus star is stuck in a unhappy marriage, but when she meets Jacob (played by Robert Pattinson), Marlena realizes she can be happy again. “It’s a wonderful story of love, hope, redemption, second chances and finding happiness,” said Witherspoon, spotted shopping in Paris yesterday.
The article portrayed Witherspooon as very at peace with where her life is right now, which was nice to see.
