Prince William Receives A Trophy And A Kiss From Kate Middleton
Life in California is treating The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge just fine! William and Catherine attended a polo match in Santa Barbara this weekend, just one of the few outings they have embarked on during their stay in the states. Saturday afternoon, the Brit scored four goals for his team during a charity match. After the match, Catherine presented William with a 15-pound trophy and kissed her husband on the cheek while wearing a Jenny Packham dress and LK Bennett shoes. As you can imagine, the crowd was pleased. For a whooping $4,000, spectators could sit down for a VIP lunch with the newlyweds. If that is too pricey, they could also get a box lunch for $400. All of the proceeds went to the American Friends of the Foundations of Prince William and Prince Harry, a charity that serves disadvantaged children, the environment and U.S. Armed Forces.
William and Kate arrived at LAX Friday after a trip to Canada with a jam-packed schedule in front of them that included plenty of schmoozing. All we know is Wills and Cate are fitting in great. Hopefully it won’t result in a trip to rehab and an apologetic press release. Welcome to California, kids!
