The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge sent out “thank you cards” to well-wishers this past week. The couple, who are expecting their first child in July, were inundated with notes of congratulations from people the world over.
Each person who sent a note will receive this postcard-like letter.
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were touched by your kind words following the wonderful news that they are expecting their first baby. It really was most thoughtful of you and Their Royal Highnesses send you their warmest thanks and best wishes.”
It is believed that William and Catherine conceived back in the United Kingdom sometime in October, after their malaria pills had worn off following the Diamond Jubilee tour.
Yesterday, the British Monarchy’s Court Circular reported that Catherine took a meeting at St. James’s Palace to discuss palliative care concerning children and young adults.
The Duchess of Cambridge’s charities – currently East Anglia Children’s Hospice, the National Portait Gallery, The Art Room and Action on Addiction – are now included in The Prince’s Charities Forum, founded in 2006 to bring William, Harry and Catherine’s charities together so that each royal can lend their support to the different organizations in the most effective way possible.
