Prince William And Duchess Catherine Go Casual At Paralympics Event, Set To Tour Southeast Asia and South Pacific [PHOTOS]

The Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William dressed in patriotic polo shirts on day one of the London 2012 Paralympic Games at Velodrome.

Last night Kate proved she really is the golden girl of Britain as she attended the Paralympics opening ceremony dressed in a cream and gold coat, teamed with matching gold glitter handbag.

The couple seemed to be thoroughly enjoying the first of the events they are set to attend over the next 11 days as they cheered and chatted with their fellow onlookers.

The Duchess of Cambridge will make her first speech abroad during her tour for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. The speech will take place before patients of a Malaysian hospice. St. James’s Palace.

Kate and William are going to South East Asia and the South Pacific next month. Their first engagement is an orchid naming ceremony in Singapore.

Flowers will be named after both the royals, and after William’s mother Diana, who died 15 years ago tomorrow.
