Prince Harry Presents Prizes At King George VI Stakes [PHOTOS]

Prince Harry visited Royal Ascot for the King George VI & Queen Elizabeth Stakes this weekend, looking happy at the races held in honor of his great grandparents.

A smiling Harry was photographed wearing a navy blue suit and light blue tie, and later presented prizes to all those involved with winning horse Nathaniel, including owner Lady Rothschild. Winning jockey William Buick called the victory a “dream come true,” according to the U.K.’s Daily Mail.

However, the race, which celebrated its 60th anniversary, didn’t quite go off without a hitch. Italian jockey Frankie Dettori’s horse, Rewilding, had to be put down after suffering from a serious injury.

Despite the tragedy, Harry’s presence seemed to be a ray of light at the event.
