Sweet, sweet, Kate. Could you be any more perfect?

32-year-old Kate Middleton has been busy celebrating her son George’s first birthday, but she still made sure to commemorate the fallen soldiers from World War I.

According to Us Weekly, she joined Prince Harrywho was recently playing polo very handsomely, and her husband Prince William to honor the 100th anniversary of the British Commonwealth’s declaration of war on Germany. And she even appeared to shed some tears!

Seen here, General Lord Dannatt, Constable of the Tower of London gives a tour to Prince Harry, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William, Duke of Cambridge as they attend the ceramic poppy field of remembrance  on August 5th in London, England.

Kate looked stunning as she wore a cobalt blue dress by L.K. Bennett, carried a navy blue clutch, and wore matching heels. At one point Kate is seen wiping a tear from her eye. Whether that tear was shed out of emotion or to save her makeup for allergies is anyone’s guess.

According to the Mirror, the ceramic poppy display currently has 120,000 flowers, but will eventually hold 888,246 to commemorate every British serviceman and woman killed during the war.
