Prince Harry Introduces The Invictus Games For Wounded, British Veterans

Well there goes Prince Harry, being all sweet and charming again.

The redheaded royal made headlines today as the announced the start of the Invictus Games, a paralympic-style competition for ill and wounded service members. You know the Warrior Games that we have in America? It’s just like that. Mostly because Prince Harry stole it.

Harry was so impressed with the games when he visited last year that he joked it was “such a good idea by the Americans that it had to be stolen.”

Alright, we’ll let you have this, but only because you’re Prince Harry and we love you. (Also, I’m pretty sure we can still be beheaded.) Plenty of media were invited to the launch event today, held at the former Olympic Park in east London. On a serious note, Harry explained “how the power of sport can positively impact the lives” of men and women in the military.

Good on you, Harry. Launch the gallery to check out all the photos from today’s event. It’s rather fun seeing Prince Harry join in on the action.
