Prince George Has A Playdate With The Children Of New Zealand, Has A Mildly Good Time

April 9th, 2014 // Leave a Comment

Ah, Prince George. How does it feel to be hosting your first royal engagement at just 9 months old?

Well, he may as well have been hosting it. The young Prince and his parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, were busy little bees this morning as they visited Royal New Zealand Plunket Society. You can learn more about them here.

10 babies, roughly around George’s age, were chosen to come and spend the day playing with the Prince, although from the looks of it George kept mostly to himself.

Still! There was one baby there who caught his attention. According to the Daily Mail, one baby girl grabbed a toy George was playing with out of his hands, causing quite the commotion. Oh babies, so cute.

You know what else is so cute? Catherine’s dress. The Duchess looked gorgeous in a black and white Tory Burch dress that she paired with sensible black heels. I mean, she’s gotta run after a baby, lady needs to be comfortable.

Prince William kept his distance during the event, mostly chatting with other parents. George didn’t seem to mind though. He was busy crawling around, eating Catherine’s hair and staring at babies. Think he found the future Mrs. Windsor? Launch the gallery to check out all the photos from the playdate and find out. This royal trip is the best one yet.
