Jerry Bruckheimer Is Immortalized

Jerry Bruckheimer had his hand and footprints immortalized in cement outside of the Grauman’s Chinese Theater in LA today.

Tom Cruise came go support the Top Gun producer saying a few words of introduction before Bruckheimer spoke. The six time Oscar winning producer (41 nominations) told the crowd about the first time he came to the Hollywood spot. “I was about 12 years old, I got so excited I had an asthma attack. Now I’m standing here, so close to Marilyn Monroe’s [handprint] I may have an anxiety attack.”

It looks like the cast of Prince of Persia headed over straight from their LA premiere (or vice versa) still in their same outfits.

Nicolas Cage was also there and reminisced about first meeting Jerry.

“The first time I met Jerry I was auditioning for a film, I didn’t get the part but during the screen test I was so amped up and in character that I smashed a hole in the wall of his office with my fist. Most producers may be scared off by this but not Jerry. Instead I think it excited him enough to find parts for me in seven different films!” he laughed.
