Winning A New York Film Critics’ Circle Award Makes Javier Bardem Feel Sultry

Purse those lips! Both Javier Bardem and Daniel Day-Lewis won big at the New York Film Critics Circle Awards. Javier won best supporting actor for his turn as the psycho with the pageboy haircut in “No Country For Old Men”, and Daniel won for playing the crazy oil baron in “There Will Be Blood”. I gotta see it. I know I’m going to sit there for three hours and contemplate why I made that choice, but I gotta see it. Other winners included my other favorite Canadian actress/director Sarah Polley. Ms. Polley won for her directorial/writing debut “Away From Her”. That’s hot, because Sarah Polley is a frickin’ genius. I won’t even start with “Go”. She’s boss in everything she’s in. Question: Is Maggie Gyllenhaal such a crankcase because she’s afraid someone might make off with her babydaddy/fiance Sarsgaard? Bitch is crusty all the time. She’s probably aware that we saw “Kinsey” and know what’s happening downscope. She probably wishes he never made that movie.
