Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore sat down with Piers Morgan last night for their first joint interview ever. The couple spoke about their Real Men Don’t Buy Girls campaign, which is helping to stop sex trafficking.
Speaking to Piers Morgan, Kutcher said:
“I don’t believe that there’s a problem in the world that exists that the solutions didn’t exist before the problem. So that’s why we’re using social media for this campaign. It’s to actually go right into the heart of where it’s taking place. Seventy-six per cent of the transactions for child sex slavery is actually happening online. So if we can motivate people while they are online to do something about that, then we can make a dent.”
As for how the couple keep their marriage working, it all comes down to a bunch of little yellow pieces of paper. “If you go to our house I have Post-it notes that are placed in various locations, all with messages of encouragement or love, or just thought,” said Demi. }And some have been there, I don’t know, seven years?”
Ashton quipped: “Post-it notes are much cheaper than diamond rings.” Demi’s favorite note? “My most recent one was just a reminder that I was magical.”
