As various media outlets reported yesterday, Pippa Middleton finished Vasaloppet, Sweden’s 56-mile cross-country race which she partook in to raise money for Magic Breakfast, providing meals for poverty-stricket children.

Having only trained a few weekends prior to the Swedish race, which the Associate Press deemed Europe’s “great event of the season,” Middleton came in 412th out of 1,734 in the women’s race, finishing in 7 hours and 13 minutes.  James Middleton came in about an hour ahead of his older sister, finishing 5,531st out of 14,072 men.  Crown Prince Frederick of Denmark finished ten minutes ahead of Catherine younger brother.

Swedish news outlet SVT was able to grab a few quotes from Middleton, the first time we’ve ever heard the famous maid of honor speak in public.  Catch the clip after the jump.
