Pippa Middleton Gives Reluctant Interview At “Vitcomte A” Party [VIDEO]

Argggh, Pippa Middleton.  Do thyself a favor and drop your French friends immediately.  Footage taken of the Vitcomte A party Middleton attended in Paris on April 13th has hit the interweb, according to the Daily Mail.  Canal +’s Le Petit Journal was able to get a few words out of Catherine’s younger sister at the party, although she didn’t feel quite comfortable speaking to the press.

When asked if she spoke French, Middleton responded gamely, “Un petit peu.”  After that, she was ready for the cameras to take a hike.  Vicomte Marcy, the younger brother of Middleton’s friend, Vicomte Arthur de Soultrait, kept pressuring her to speak to the interviewer.  This guy should be the first contact ripped out of Middleton’s rolodex, for he fits the bill of a typical French creeper.

Marcy joked to the cameras that Middleton was his new “petite amie” (girlfriend), to which Middleton threw her head back in laughter (can’t blame her).  Before that, she was seen telling Marcy that while she was happy to pose for photographs, she felt uncomfortable speaking in front of the camera.  Marcy didn’t seem to care, and kept pressuring her to speak.

Meanwhile,  Soultrait released an apology today regarding the toy gun his friend waved this weekend while driving Middleton to Paris’s Gard du Nord train station.

“Last Saturday, I was in a car with Philippa Middleton, and we were being followed by paparazzi.  She had been subject to constant and dangerous harassment by paparazzi throughout her time in Paris. The car was being driven by a friend of mine, whom Pippa had only met a few hours before. As a joke, my friend brandished a toy pistol in their direction.  Obviously Philippa had no idea that he was going to do that and told him to stop immediately. She did not find it funny.   I regret enormously that this incident happened, and especially that Pippa has been subject to the subsequent attention through no fault of her own. I have apologized to her for this.”

I hardly think that this is damaging to the royal family and the Middleton name (Yes,Us Weekly.  I’m referring to your obnoxious cover story this week), but I do think that Pippa needs to drop these friends.
