Macaulay Culkin shot to stardom after he played opposite Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern in the 1990 family comedy, Home Alone. In 1991, Culkin received a Golden Globe nomination and a Young Artist Award for his work on Home Alone. A pretty big accomplishment for a 10-year-old. Following the success of the film, Culkin maintained a steady stream of work, including the 1991 film My Girl and the 1992 sequel Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. In 1994, at just 14-years-old, Culkin retired from child acting.
