Andrew Keegan's first break came when he joined the second (and final) season of Thunder Alley in 1994. He followed that with guest spots on Full House, Step by Step, and Boy Meets World, but eventually jumped to film. Keegan made his movie debut in the 1996 summer-blockbuster hit starring Will Smith, Independence Day. He returned to television in 1997 where he had recurring roles in both Party of Five and 7th Heaven. As Wilson on 7th Heaven, Keegan made teen parenting attractive as a caring and gentle, single father. Introduced to the series in 1997, Keegan's character of Wilson continued to appear sporadically through the series run as an on-again, off-again boyfriend, and eventually "just friend," to Mary Camden. His final departure from the series came in 2004 during the shows ninth season. During the late 90s and early 200os, Keegan balanced television and film, including taking on roles in the modern day remakes of Shakespeare classics: 10 Things I Hate About You (1999) and O (2001).
