10. Thank You for Being Our Friend 2010 marked the loss of some of TV and movies most iconic performers. It seems people from every generation lost someone they grew up with this year. Among the many talented performers on this year’s “In Memoriam” reel are America’s favorite TV parents Tom Bosley, (“Mr. C.” from Happy Days) and Barbara Billingsley from Leave It to Beaver – who you may better remember as the lady who speaks jive from Airplane. The “Airplane curse” also claimed Peter Graves (who has probably seen a grown man naked) and Leslie “Don’t call me Shirley” Nielsen. In addition, we also said goodbye to Gary Coleman, Corey Haim, Golden Girl Rue McClanahan, comedian Greg Giraldo, Designing Women's Dixie Carter, the voice of Charlie from Charlie's Angels - John Forsyth, rocker Ronnie James Dio, LFO singer Rich Cronin and legendary actors Tony Curtis and Dennis Hopper.
