Although the famous ‘Beatle’ had a very popular wedding to his first wife Linda and then a lavishly expensive wedding with model Heather Mills, he kept things relatively quiet this time around. Nancy Shevell is an American native and heiress to the New England Motor Freight company, which boasts over $400 million in annual revenues. According to MSNBC, Nancy’s wedding gown was designed by Paul’s daughter Stella McCartney. Paul’s former wife Heather Mills was rumored to refuse any help from Stella in her 2002 wedding preparations.
“I feel absolutely wonderful,” McCartney said after the simple civil ceremony.
Seen here, American Nancy Shevell and ‘The Beatles’ singer-songwriter Sir Paul McCartney are pictured arriving at Marylebone Town Hall, in Central London, UK. They married at the registry office here, where McCartney married his first wife Linda Eastman in 1969. There to support his band-mate was Ringo Starr with wife Barbara Bach. I’m loving this dress, it’s so vintage reminiscent with a Pippa Middleton flair. Congrats Paul!
