Paris Hilton’s Documentary Tries To Make Her Appear Human

May 18th, 2009 // 2 Comments

The documentary filmed about Paris Hilton‘s life attempts to give a look at what the heiress claims is her true personality. The director of the flick, Adria Petty, was granted interviews with
family members, friends as well as Hilton family home movies.

In Paris, Not France, attempts are made not only to dispel the commonly held perception that Hilton is a party-hopping ditz and in this trailer, it’s clear that the film has a lot of “poor-little-rich-girl” shots of Paris lamenting her carefully cultivated fame and subsequent infamy.

And then, of course, we have these pictures of Paris partying with her boyfriend Doug Reinhardt at the same party in Cannes where Tara Reid partied her ass into the ground. So yeah, clearly Paris is a very misunderstood “thinker.”

All joking aside I think that at the end of the day Paris Hilton comes off as pretty smart:

Her grandfather disinherited her and her siblings (and all of her other relatives) from the family fortune–all two billion dollars will go to charity.

So instead of ending up penniliess like her siblings and her cousins she is a mega millionaire in her own right.

What is interesting is that her family could sue her grandfather for disinheriting them since it was a family trust created by his own father.

What does it tell you about our society that allows a hump like Paris Hilton the public longevity she enjoys.

And people wonder why this country is going down the crapper!
