Paris Hilton made her debut as a DJ last night (June 24th 2012) at the Sao Paulo Pop Music Festival. The Heiress deejayed for the first time in front of thousands of fans in Brazil.
Hilton received a warm welcome when she arrived in Brazil, but throughout the course of her set, the love soon turned to hate as she was booed on stage.
The thirty-one year old has tried to break into the music scene in the past and might be trying to revamp her image with her new found love of house music. She collaborated with her boyfriend, DJ AfroJack, one of the top DJs in the world on a song that she premiered last night. She’s even taking it one step further by confirming that she will be working with him and releasing a full album in the near future.
Although her first experience as a DJ wasn’t a huge success, it doesn’t seem to have phased the ever-persistent Hilton. Despite being booed by thousands, a confident and ecstatic Hilton tweeted hours after the event: “Wow! What an incredible night! So happy you all loved my set! Loved watching you all smile & dance! One of the best night’s of my life!” She may not be getting a lot of positive feedback, but at least she enjoyed herself!
