Parents, Take The Kids To See Vanilla Ice

Sure he can rap, but are we to believe Vanilla Ice can interpret his thoughts through the magic of body language?  You’ll have to hop over to England in December to find out, because Us Magazine reports that the one-hit wonderton is now a pantomime.  Ice (real name Robert Van Winkle) will play Captain Hook in a theatrical production of Peter Pan.  Without the power of speech, Vanilla Ice will have to use “body movements and facial contortions.”

I can’t decide if this is a genius idea or if the theater manager was as high as a kite when he told the BBC that “Ice is a huge name who I am sure will be a real draw for parents and children alike.” Said manager continued, “He has never performed in a pantomime before, but I am sure he will go down as a hit.”

V.I. got into character last October whilst celebrating his birthday at Studio 54 in Las Vegas.  You can’t fake that conviction.  He wants the cake, and he doesn’t even have to say anything.
