Before I get started, I want to apologize for the abrupt end to the posts yesterday. I did something to my back and couldn’t work.
So today I’m gonna try and make it up to you in a few ways, starting with Colton Haynes in drag. I don’t want to say I’m surprised that he looks amazing, but I am definitely impressed. The wig totally works on him, non?
And now we jump from Colton to Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez, who posted complimentary photos on Instagram. Read More »
“We’re not representing our lives truthfully,” Sandra Bullock told U.K.’s The Times. The actress, who was honored as “Favorite Movie Actress” at the People’s Choice Awards, recently explained why she is anti-selfie, which I’m sure plenty of people out there can empathize with. “Like when you’re yelling at your child, you’re not taking a selfie of you being a horrible parent. No, you’re waiting for the perfect selfie. ‘Do I look thinner now?’ ‘Do I look great?’ It’s this false projection of one’s life. Hollywood has now gone global. Everyone’s Hollywood now.” Read More »
Yeah, I think we get it now that The Revenant shoot was pretty much hell on Earth for almost everyone involved, but hey, all that blood, cold sweat and maybe tears paid off because the movie is visually amazing and it just racked up 12 Oscar nominations.
The filming was so difficult, in fact, that star Tom Hardy at one point apparently fell “down in the snow” with director Alejandro G. Inarritu – which means he put the auteur in a brief choke-hold – and then had t-shirts of the moment made for the rest of the crew. Ha-ha? Read More »

But how else can you explain the fact that Ben Stiller and Penelope Cruz cover the latest issue of the magazine, all to promote Zoolander 2? This is possibly my favorite Vogue editorial ever.
And not just because the photoshoot by Annie Leibovitz is stunning–Ben is giving us Blue Steel, Le Tigre and Magnum–but also because it’s a really, really good article. Read More »

With all this talk of Leonardo DiCaprio and how he needs to finally win an Oscar because he so deserves it, I started to think about another actor, who was totally deserving of an Oscar on numerous occasions, and yet never managed to win won.
The great, Peter O’Toole. So it seems like the perfect time to talk about him as our Classic Hollywood Throwback Thursday.
Shall we take a moment and discuss his 8-time nominated actor? Read More »
Wouldn’t you be super excited if your movie walked away with the most Oscar nominations?
Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hardy were quite the smiley duo this evening at the UK premiere of The Revenant. Again, I assume that has something to do with the fact that Leo got that Best Actor nomination he’s been courting (and will probably win), Tom got his very first nomination for Best Supporting Actor and the movie picked up eight other nominations, including Best Picture and Best Director.
So yeah, that’s a pretty good Thursday. Read More »
Rumors have been swirling about a reunion of our favorite Spice Girls as part of their 20th anniversary, and now it looks like it’s true. Well, at least, it’s imminent, just nothing “concrete” yet, says Ginger Spice, Geri Halliwell.
Speaking with BBC’s The Chris Evans Breakfast Show, Halliwell stated, there’s nothing “definite or concrete” but “when it’s definite we’ll announce it together.” We’ll take that as a very good sign it’s all happening. I’ve got to find that Union Jack dress in the back of my closet. Read More »
