Who says dogs and cats don't get along!
Hundreds of dog owners dressed up their pets and themselves for the largest Halloween dog parade held at the Tompkins Square Park in Manhattan, New York this past Saturday (October 20, 2012).

More than 2,500 cute-loving spectators also showed up to enjoy the parade. The event is the largest of its kind in the United States.

Observers and proud puppy parents shared what they were seeing with the world on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and their blogs.

This year’s winner, earning best in show, went to an elaborately designed E.T. costume, complete with its own red-hooded Eliot and a massive, white moon that followed alongside on its own two legs.
