We had Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens, Miley Cyrus and Nick Jonas, Nick Jonas and Selena Gomez, and now Noah Cyrus and Frankie Jonas. The youngest members of the Cyrus family and Jonas family are hitting the big screen in Ponyo, a film from Academy-award winning director Hayao Miyazaki.
Noah and Frankie do the voices for the American version of the cartoon, which has already become a huge hit in other countries. The film follows Noah’s character, Ponyo, a goldfish princess who strikes up a friendship with Frankie’s character. The film also stars the voice talents of Matt Damon, Lily Tomlin, Cloris Leachman, and Betty White, so it’s safe to say Noah and Frankie are in some good company.
Frankie was joined at the premiere by his three famous brothers, Nick, Joe, and Kevin Jonas, although Miley, Noah’s older sister, couldn’t make it due to her filming schedule.
So, this is what needs to happen now. Noah and Frankie need to start dating, creating the smaller version of Miley and Nick. Then at the age of ten, they will break up because Frankie will develop a crush on Selena Gomez’s baby sister. And yes, I mean baby. Noah will be hurt, and in retaliation she will date one of the Sprouse brothers. Sadly, both of those relationships will end and at the age of 13, Noah and Frankie will get back together. Or like, you know, it won’t happen and this will all just have been an entertaining vision.
Ponyo actually looks quite good. Why wouldn’t it? It’s Miyazaki! Check out the trailer and tell us what you think.
