Nina Dobrev Tells Us Why She’s So Gorgeous
Nina Dobrev dished on her beauty and health secrets and routines and while it may not get you to also look like a hotter version of Jennifer Love Hewitt, the Vampire Diaries star certainly sets an example for leading a healthy lifestyle.
First of all: exercise, exercise, exercise (duh). The actress, who recently turned 21, doesn’t just rely on that youthful metabolism to stay healthy, practicing yoga 2-3 times a week. When she can’t make it to class, she turns to her trainer for some toning and a yoga-centric work out.
“I love yoga because it’s very calming for your body and your spirit,” the star of the hit show said. “It
gives you that meditative state and its 90 minutes where you can get
away from the world and just be, and exist in the moment. I need yoga.
It’s part of my life and I can’t imagine not doing it.”
She also said doing hot yoga she feels help clear her (oh so perfect…) skin. Another secret, she says, is that she frequently switches her skin care regiment to keep her skin fresh. And of course, diligence and routine.
“In the morning if I can’t go to [yoga] class, I’ll go jump on a bed and
do Downward Dog, or stretch, or go into Childs Pose and just breathe
and relax and get ready for my day,” Dobrev said, pictured at LAX on Monday. “I have a routine that I have to go
by. It’s important.”
Good to see that some of young Hollywood is staying sane and healthy. I can think of someone who might want to take some pointers…
