My how quickly Sunday Rose is growing up!

Nicole Kidman and her husband, Keith Urban did some shopping around the Soho with their daughter in New York City yesterday (December 18). Later in the afternoon they went to purchase a puppy for Sunday Rose.

The actress recently opened a boutique, Rue La La. All the profits will go go toward the Stanford Women’s Cancer Center. Kidman said:

I am thrilled to partner with Rue La La to support Stanford Women’s Cancer Center, which provides a real place of hope for women,” Nicole tells Celebrity Baby Scoop. “In my ‘Doing A Little Good’ boutique I have chosen items to encourage moms to shop for a cause this holiday season and help this amazing program which is so close to my heart.”

The cause is dear to Nicole’s heart, she explained why.

“My mother had breast cancer when I was 17, so I was personally affected by the disease. I saw a woman suffering, a woman who I loved, who was the heartbeat of our family, going through such distress. This is where I’m putting my efforts right now – keeping our mothers, sisters, and daughters healthy.”

The boutique will benefit reproductive cancer research at Stanford Women’s Cancer Center under the direction of Dr. Jonathan Berek, a world-renowned expert in ovarian cancer. The Center, which is dedicated to bringing hope and healing to women with breast and gynecologic cancers, delivers integrated, comprehensive, personalized care to patients and their families. Its advanced research is illuminating new possibilities in early detection and prevention, genetics, cancer vaccines, immunotherapy, and cancer stem cells.

Handsome man, gorgeous woman equals beautiful child. What a happy, loving family are the Urbans

I hope they didn’t buy their puppy at a pet store. All puppies at pet stores, without exception, come from puppy mills. People have to educate themselves before they buy a pet. It’s a living thing, not a toy!

  3. You don’t know where they bought it, so chill out..Plus they don’t have to answer to you. Quit judging and condemning without having ANY information !! I’m pretty sure with an I.Q. of 130, in the GENIUS RANGE, Nicole figured out a pet is a LIVING THING, NOT A TOY!!! Good Lord!
