Nick Jonas Thanks Fans With A Street Concert, Attends AIDS Walk New York [PHOTOS & VIDEO]

Due to “sluggish” box office sales, How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying closed earlier than its original date, July 12th. “This is our last show tonight. It’s been an amazing run,” Nick Jonas said after Saturday night’s final show.  “This is a great show, and this is a great group of people. I’m truly humbled to be on this stage every night with these amazing people… who really care so deeply about their work and about each other.”

Jonas was preceeded by Glee’s Darren Criss, and before him Daniel Radcliffe played the role of J. Pierrepont Finch.  “It’s a joy to come into work every day. It’s the kind of experience you never forget,” Jonas added.  “This is my return to Broadway as a man now… and I could not have done what I did onstage every night without these amazing people up here with me.”

Before making his final curtain, Jonas performed an impromptu concert outside the Al Hirschfield Theater, singing “Lovebug” and a cover of One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful.”  Yesterday (May 20th) Jonas attended the 27th Annual AIDS Walk New York 2012, the world’s largest HIV/AIDS fundraising event, in Central Park.
