Nick Jonas walked the red carpet at a pre-theater party during Kids Night On Broadway 2012 at Madame Tussauds today (February 7th) in New York City. The special event, according to Playbill, allows kids ages 6-18 free access to Broadway shows when accompanied by a full-paying adult. Participating shows include Anything Goes, Chicago, Godspell, The Lion King, Wicked, Jersey Boys and The Phantom Of The Opera, just to name a few.
Jonas, who currently stars in How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying, said the following about Kids Night On Broadway: “As someone who got their start as a kid on Broadway, it’s truly an honor to be involved in such a fantastic event. Broadway played an enormous role in inspiring me to be the performer I am today, and as this year’s [Kids' Night] ambassador I hope I’ll be able to encourage kids across the country to get involved in the theatre — whether on stage, behind the scenes, or in the audience.”
“Who’s coming out to the fan fest today at Madame Tussauds? I wanna say hi!” Jonas tweeted earlier today.
