A Single Man‘s Nicholas Hoult (remember him from About A Boy?) joins the cast of Mad Max, according to the Hollywood Reporter.  The breakout star, nominated for a BAFTA for his work in Tom Ford‘s directorial debut, with co-star alongside Charlize Theron, Zoe Kravitz and Teresa Palmer.  The Reporter explains,

“The movie is set a short while after the story detailed in 1985′s Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome, which keeps Mad Max, the character
originated by Mel Gibson, relatively young.”

Hoult will also appear in the remake of Clash Of The Titans.  Check out his killer photos in the gallery, courtesy of vman.com.

  1. Really Sad

Its really sad with all the money Hollywood makes/brings it, it insists on doing remake of beloved shows/movies and RUINING them. So, now there is a remake of Mad Max? Why? What other reason other than ruining a good movie could you possible do a remake on it? the story is pretty simple and has been told…to death. this is one “fan” who won’t be watching the remake. I have no desire to see what interpretation someone else has for the movie.
Hollywood…either come up with some original stuff or turn off the lights, shut the door, good night nurse.
