Nicholas Hoult was joined by his Jack The Giant Slayer co-stars Stanley Tucci, Eleanor Tomlinson and Ewan McGregor, along with director Bryan Singer for the film’s photocall earlier today (February 12, 2013) at Hampton Court Palace in London, England.
Jack The Giant Slayer – previously known as Jack The Giant Killer – has been a long time coming to screens, having previously been due to open in movie theaters last May.
A loose adaptation of the classic Jack And The Beanstalk tale, this version takes a darker approach, with Hoult’s title character caught in a war between man and giants.
Hoult recently revealed what viewers can expect from his character, saying: “Jack is a farm boy, who has a chance meeting with a princess and falls for her. He has nothing to lose. You see a younger version of Jack at the start of the film, then we cut to him 10 years later. He has a tough upbringing but he is still an optimist.”
Who else is looking forward to seeing Nicholas slaying some giants?
