News Bites: Kelly Osbourne In High Spirits Among High Heels

-Happily engaged, Kelly Osbourne went out shoe shopping at Barney’s and seemed pleased to have spotted the paparazzi photographing her just outside the store, greeting them with a big smile. She’s in a much better mood than her mother, Sharon Osbourne was not too long ago when she attacked Charm School Rock of Love dropout Megan Hauserman. Maybe her mom could have used some cheering up with some shoe shopping.

-Holly Madison told Us Weekly that she’s ready to tie the knot with illusionist boyfriend Criss Angel. “I actually made Criss a paper ring, but he won’t wear it. When he starts wearing his paper ring, I will be the one to propose.” Hef who?

-Twice the usual budget is being used for promoting the Tom Cruise film Valkyrie in the hopes that the movie will do well on its opening Christmas Day. A whopping $70 million is reportedly being spent by MGM on marketing the film. According to a source that chatted with Page Six, “They are betting the ranch and spending every available penny they have on advertising trying to make this film work.”
