I have a feeling we’re not in Lima, Ohio anymore: all hail the queen of Rolling Stone‘s Latin Hot List, Naya Rivera!
The 26-year-old, who shot to fame playing the delightfully vicious Santana Lopez, just released her debut single “Sorry” this September. But apparently, it was Rivera who pushed her record label to drop the single earlier and grace the world with her message of “sorry (biiitch!), I’m not sorry”:
“This is what I’m doing,” she explained. “Get on or get off. I think this is a summer song, and I want it on the radio by the end of the summer.”
Now that’s a can-do attitude – Santana would be proud.
In addition to almost completing her first album, Rivera has more to look forward to: the actress-singer just got engaged to rapper Big Sean last month, and has been spotted shopping for a wedding dress with fellow Glee star Kevin McHale. I’m secretly holding out for Brittana to work out again, but in the meantime, this works. Congrats, Naya!
