Nate Berkus And Jeremiah Brent’s Wedding Made History

You know what they say...
Those who train together, stay together!
Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent made it official! Not only did they make it official, but they got married in historic fashion!

The lovebirds made history by being the first same-sex couple to get married in the New York Public Library!

The 42-year-old designer and the 29-year-old author said their ‘I do’s’ in front of 220 guests including Oprah Winfrey and Rachael Ray.

And get this…the co-president of OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network), Sheri Salata, officiated the wedding!

Nate told People:

[Sheri] accidentally knocked our ceremonial glass off onto the floor and it broke. It was hilarious and something we’ll be laughing about 20 years from now!

Something that also made the couple laugh was Jeremiah’s “inability to stop crying” during the ceremony. He just couldn’t help himself!

So adorable! Must have been such a beautiful wedding. Congrats to the happy couple!
