Ah, guilty pleasures. I think we all have plenty of them we try to avoid talking about. Think about your favorite, disgustingly greasy food. Do you broadcast your love of it to others? No, of course not. You would be too worried about being judged based on your preference. Based on experience, I know the same happens with music – especially with the greasy songs.
Take “Blurred Lines” by Robin Thicke for example. I hate the song with a burning passion. A multitude of people despise the song as well. Many, including myself, believe it promotes an incredibly negative message. Many songs do these days, but that one in particular takes the cake.
