Mischa Barton who was arrested for DUI in L.A. early the morning of Dec. 27 called in to Ryan Seacrest’s L.A. radio show early this morning and talked about her ordeal.

“Obviously I’m 100 percent responsible for my actions in this case. I’m really disappointed in myself. I don’t know what to say about it, except that I’m not perfect, and I just don’t ever intend to do something this stupid again.”

“I was out with some friends and actually hadn’t been driving earlier in the night, but I wanted to get my car home.” Barton explained. “I can’t really get into specifics. We’ve got the case coming up, and I’m not supposed to say anything about what happened. I was pulled over.”

“I didn’t have a license. I grew up in New York, the land of people who don’t have to drive. It’s always been the toughest thing about living in L.A. for me. I usually try not to get behind the wheel.”

Mischa Barton will be holding auditions for drivers all week long – contact her representation if you’re interested.

I’m always amazed at “famous” people’s mug shots. You just got arrested, moron, what the f*ck are you smiling about??? Proud of your stupidity? Maybe she’s smiling because she got lucky and didn’t kill anyone while she was driving with one eye open…

“I didn’t have a license. I usually try not to get behind the wheel.”

What the fuck???! She doesn’t have a license so *tries not to get behind the wheel*??
Is this normal?! Is America just completely insane? Because this is not the first starletard to be of the opinion that a license is optional.
And she owns a car but never got certified to use it?
Awghh, my head is really hurting with some sort of cabin-pressure type feeling. Oh yeah, I’m fucking infuriated.

And it’s not like she just arrived in LA — she hasn’t had time to go get a license yet? Loob, I, too, was amazed by the “trying” to not get behind the wheel. Nuts.
