Green eyed Ukrainian beauty and talented actress Mila Kunis shares her thoughts with Interview Magazine, reflecting back on her acting career and where she’s headed now. With her latest endeavor in Seth McFarlane‘s comedic flick Ted, a box office success, Kunis is already in the workings of wrapping up this chapter of her life and bowing out gracefully from the big screen.
To the 29-year-old, Kunis has come to Hollywood at a tender age of 9 and since, her career has blossomed exactly as it was meant to be. Living a life of few regrets, close knit family and friends, and living a ‘mediocre lifestyle’ as a an actress Kunis has few things to complain about.
Her roles that she’s deliberately chosen are reflective of what she believes in rather than choosing it for the sake of a game changer. Kunis is certainly not a one-trick pony actress and her slim frame, bright eyes and signature natural ease are hard to miss on the big screen. Her talent is emitted dexterously as she undertakes a diverse range of roles from comedy flicks, to action-adventure.
Since Kunis’s days on the sitcom That 70s Show, she decided to take lead of her career path and follow a new direction which is to branch off from the sitcom and go for the big screen. “I solely wanted do films that inspire me, and to work with people who make me better. I wanted to just surround myself with people who I think are better than I am, whether they’re actors or directors or producers, so that I could learn from them.” said Kunis.
The Black Swan actress has come a long way since then and forecasts what she expects to see in her near future.”Listen, in five years I do hope to have a family, and, you know, who knows? I think in this industry people have such a short shelf life, truly, that I don’t know what I’m going to be in five years in regards to acting. I mean, I’d love to produce. I can’t form a sentence or write an e-mail, so I know I’m definitely not going to go and become a writer, but I would love to explore other facets of this industry, for sure,” she says. “I’ve always been a big proponent of not working for the sake of working, because I don’t want to work for the rest of my life — I want to live. So I’d rather work to live than live to work.”
Kunis is the new face of Christian Dior’s Miss Dior campaign for their new handbag line. The brunette beauty is shot in a 50s inspired dress and classy cat-eye makeup for the shoot. The ad will hit international magazines beginning next month!
