In the December issue of Elle UK, Fassbender aired his grievances with the world’s obsession over his famed junk. “I can’t start saying, ‘Wait a second there is more about the film than my dick’; it’s one scene and it doesn’t go on for very long,” he protested.
Here’s a brief history lesson: you see, just a few years ago, society fumbled about in the Dark Ages, during which most of us had no idea what Fassbender was packing.
But with the 2011 release of his film Shame, in which the actor played an ad executive struggling with sex addiction, his nude full-frontal scene cast a light – a very well-endowed, impressive light – onto the world. And ever since, no one, not even George Clooney, could stop gushing about Fassbender’s junk.
“It wouldn’t be acceptable it would be seen as sexual harassment, people saying [to an actress], ‘Your vagina …’ You know?” the actor continued. He has a point here, as I pity the interviewer who would ever approach an actress with that line.
So what do you think, is all this penis-talk fair game or should we take a vow of silence regarding the actor’s equipment? Let us know in the comments!
