Michael C. Hall, David Zayas and C.S. Lee got Dexter fans fired up at Comic Con yesterday during Showtime’s Tired Of Ordinary Television? New Season Preview. The nextwork announced that season six will return October 2nd, with the show set a year after the season five finale.
Executive producer Sara Colleton told E!, “Dexter finished his year of atonement [and the focus returns] to the Dark Passenger.” Hall added, “The Lumen [Julia Stiles] character/story allowed Dexter to actively atone for the responsibility Dexter has for Rita’s death. He’s been through that, he’s processed that, and Lumen recognized the impossibility of a healthy union with Dexter. He’s completely unplugged from that experience and is back to his killing ways.”
Check out a preview for season six of Dexter after the jump.
